The Bellefonte Academy began playing basketball in 1902. On March 1st of that year they played the first organized game of basket ball in Centre County. That game was played in the Bellefonte Armory building at Lamb and Spring Streets versus the 5th Regiment, Co. B. Through 1906, the Academy played all of their home games in the Armory gymnasium. Beginning in 1907 they moved their home games to the new Bellefonte Y.M.C.A. In 1920, they again moved their home games back to the Armory.
The following, although incomplete, represent records for the Bellefonte Academy versus various opponents they played starting in the 1901-1902 school year through the 1920-1921 school year.
